Richard Lowell Hart, 88, died on April 24, 2017. He talked of seeing his late wife, Beatrice, waiting at Heaven’s Gate for him. The sweet reunion happened at 1:45 am on that early morning. He was born on June 3, 1928 in Lawrence, Michigan. Richard’s parents were Dorothy and Kenneth Hart. He married the love of his life, Beatrice Mae Heavner in 1949. They had three sons. Beatrice passed from this life in 2009. He was also predeceased by one sister, Sue Clement. He is survived by two sisters, Joyce Levens and Mary Lou Cicalo. Dick, as he was known to his friends, was a wonderful father. he was grandfather to 9, great grandfather to 15. He loved and cherished all of them, counting them as a joy and helped them to meet Jesus, and grow in His love. Dick resided at Westminster Woods on Julington Creek for the past 12 years. There he found friendship, loving care and had a useful life to honor his Lord and Savior. He enjoyed life to the fullest…always a smile for a friend, and a helpful hand when needed. He left his mark wherever he was. He is survived by sons: Gary and Jan; Steven and Heather and Kevin and Ellen. He is also survived by grandchildren Chris and Kathleen; Dan and Liz; Jon and Jenn; Sarah; Ben and Kathryn; Robert; Claudio and Marijke; Theresa and Robert and John. We will miss Dad Hart, but know we will be reunited with him again one day in Heaven, because of our Heavenly Father’s love through Jesus Christ, our Savior.
