Ricky Sweat, 63, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a native of Jacksonville, born on May 30, 1955 to Oral (Buck) and Mildred Carter-Sweat. Ricky loved music and enjoyed playing the drums.
He is survived by two sisters, Cindy Young (Keith) and Cathy Parrish (Lane); four nephews, Kevin Young (Sarah), Travis Young, Jonathan Parrish (Jessica) and Cameron Parrish (Valerie); one great nephew, Sheldon Parrish and one great niece, Kinsley Parrish.
Rick was predeceased by his parents and grand-parents.
The family will receive friends at 6 pm Thursday, August 16th and the service will begin at 6:30 pm at Old Plank Road Baptist Church, 8964 Old Plank Road in Jacksonville with Pastor Larry McGinley officiating.
