

On December 10, 2017, Richard Singer passed away suddenly at the age of 72 years. Richie born to parents Gertrude and Louis Singer. He will be forever remembered by his wife of almost 47 years, Linda; and their children, Cindy (David), and Beth (Brian); by his brother, Rob (Amy); and 4 grandchildren. Richie will also be remembered by his extended family and dear friends. Richie graduated from American International College (AIC) with a degree in finance and served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was the manager and co-owner of Lou Singer's Steak House for twenty years in Old Greenwich, CT. Richie and his family moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1989. Richie was the owner of T-Shirts by Richie, which he very much enjoyed; his customers were his special friends. Richie was happy to come home to his active community in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 14th, 2017 in Ponte Vedra Valley Cemetery, 4750 Palm Valley Road, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, with Rabbi Gary Perras as Officiant. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association. May the Holy One comfort Richie's family among all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
