

Robert Dale Fleming, Sr., the youngest child of Ethel and Ellis Arlington Fleming, was born on December 16, 1930 in Daytona Beach, Florida and passed away on February 7, 2014. He was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville and St. Augustine, Florida.
Dale was a Marine and honorably served on the front lines during the Korean War. He was a Past Master and Perpetual member of the Arlington Masonic Lodge #309. He was a Master Marble Craftsman and Vice-President of Fleming and Sons Tile & Marble Co. After retirement, he enjoyed woodworking and fishing, as well as all kinds of nature activities.
He is survived by his devoted caregiver and wife of 32 years, Beverly J. Fleming, and the Mother of his children, Mildred Johnson. Cherishing his memory are also his children, Robert D. Fleming Jr. and wife Cathy; Kitty Wilmoth and husband, Don; Katherine Rash and husband, John; Dave Fleming and wife, Suzette; step-son, Earl C. Scott III and wife, Melissa; and step-daughter, Mary Rebecka Scott. He has 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, plus many nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.
Visitation with family and friends will be held from 6-8pm Monday, February 10, 2014 at the Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held at 11am Tuesday. February 11 at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville.
