Robert Harold Lanning passed away on March 8, 2011 after a short battle with esophageal cancer at the age of 74. He was born in Minerva, Ohio. Before retiring from Anheuser Busch, he had careers at St. Regis Paper Company and in real estate. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Bertie in 2006. Survivors include his children, Debbie Spaulding (AJ), Susan King, Greg Lanning (Tanya), Cathy Hollaway (Tommy); his grandchildren, Kevin, Kyle, Tayib, Trenton, Meagan, Chris and Katelyn; his great granddaughter, Hadlee; his sister, Carol Marteney (Oscar) from Minerva, Ohio; and his beloved four legged companion, Abby. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 11 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Oaklawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Oaklawn for 1 hour prior to the service.
