I served Mr. McKenna's requiem Mass today. Although I just met Bob a few times at the Wnorowski's at dinner parties, I remember him fondly. May the American flag the family received be blessed with the sprinkles of holy water and smell sweet of incense forever. I think that is a nice blend of symbols that represent Mr. McKenna well. God and Country.

For us Bob was not just a neighbor but family.  From the moment we came home from the hospital with our little guy...both Bob and Cass waiting in the driveway to meet him. They were now no longer Bob and Cass but Pop and Mimi. I had so many pictures to choose from but chose this because it hold special meaning for us and our daily flag raising together with him. He was definitely Blake’s Superman....an amazing role model and best of all his Pop and his  buddy too. What a great gift we had in knowing him and being a part of his life. ..his memories will live forever with us and in our hearts.

I am a retired FBI agent living in the Philadelphia suburbs. I met Bob when I started working as an audit consultant for State Farm Insurance Company.  Bob and I became instant friends due to our similar backgrounds.  I considered him my mentor in helping me understand audit investigations and the insurance business. His experience and guidance helped me tremendously.  

I enjoyed my telephone conversations with Bob over the years following his retirement.  He was always very positive and never complained, even though I knew he was suffering.  He showed such courage in his fight with his health issues.

Bob was a true patriot and a man of strong faith.  I will miss him, and may he rest in peace.

We became friends 25 years ago when we kayaked on the ocean, once followed a whale, another time to welcome the Saratoga home.  Since then we often met on the street and on the beach where we discussed everything.  Bob did many good things.  He and Cass made a great family.

I worked for Bob from 1978 - 1988 at the Division of Insurance Fraud in Miami.  He was the best boss you could possibly have and always led by example.  Truly a man of impeccable integrity and courage.  I have never met a finer person.

A very good man, a fellow Marine and a neighbor. A strong Christian man. Bob fought the good fight. His example of his Christian faith as he suffered long and hard with this disease was a witness to many. Semper Fidelis.
