Robert M Miller

Robert M. Miller, Jr., 78, longtime resident of Jacksonville, passed away January 19, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born in Summit, NJ, son of the late Dr. Robert M. and Mary Grace (Coates) Miller. After high school and Bates College, he entered the US Navy and was stationed in Philadelphia. He graduated from Stetson University and earned his masters degree at University of FL.

Surviving are his loving partner of 48 years, Roderick C. Clark, two brothers, Arthur C. Miller, John Miller, a sister, Mary Miller Kelly, and other relatives and dear friends.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Monday, January 24, 2011 at St. Nicholas Park Christian Church, 3226 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32207.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be directed to Community Hospice of NE FL., 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257 or the St. Nicholas Park Christian Church.
