Bob, you were a wonderful part of my life! Even though we lost touch over the years, I have thought of you often and miss you dearly. I can remember your funny little sayings as if it were yesterday and the advice you gave me about how a man should treat a woman. I shared the news about your passing with Mom, and it completely devastated her because she never stopped loving you. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. You will be greatly missed!  Words can never express the love and respect that I have for you...you are simply the BEST!! As I sit here and look back through my life, you were always my constant! You were the first father that I ever remember...and you were nothing short of amazing! I can remember all of the good times; and you were there...all of the bad times; and you were there! Even the times that you told me certain things were happening and I laughed it off thinking you were losing it...lol...turned out YOU WERE RIGHT!! I was so very proud to have you at my side when I married the love of my life...through everything you were there!! Although I would give almost anything just to have one more day with you,I know you are in a better place now and free from all the pain. There is certainly no way that we could ever repay you, but I promise you while I am here on this earth that I will always honor you! You will bring joy to everyone as you did here on earth.  You contagious smile and laughter will have heaven rolling and please continue to spread your "jokes".  
I couldn't have asked for a better friend, co-conspirator, ally than you.  For over 25 years you were always there for me, I thank you and love you for that.  You were (and are) a great man.  I had an awesome time hanging with you and I will miss you terribly. I will carry you in my heart always and wish you the best that's yet to come.

Our angel was called home. A pleasure knowing Mr. Bob and wife during his stay in Tenn. A loving man that is strolling over heaven today with his loving wife. I will miss you Mr. Bob and will always treasure our friendship. Love you . Will meet you again .

Very thankful I was able to see you again when you visited here in Tennessee a few weeks ago as it had been a while since I last saw you. The world is darker today because the world lost a great man! Your life is incredibly worth celebrating. Your shoes will always be hard to fill. They sure do not make them like you anymore that is for sure. You are remembered, you are missed, and you are loved. The loss of you here on Earth is massive, but your memory, by all who were lucky enough to know you, shall never be forgotten.

God brought us into each other's lives for a reason, and I'm so thankful that he did for so many reasons. I loved picking at mr bob and sitting on the step chatting about life and making sure he didn't fall going to get a chew, mr Bob was one of the kindest men I knew , something tugged on me to stop and see him not to long ago, just to say I love you , and miss you old man. He will be missed.
