Robert Terkosky

Robert Lee Terkosky, aged 70, passed away on May 30, 2023, in Toulon, France. He was born on June 28, 1952, in Terre Haute, Indiana, USA, to Edward and Marjorie Terkosky, both of whom preceded him in death. He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Denise Terkosky, and his sheltie fur babies, Dexter and Callie. He is also survived by his sisters Nancy Terkosky, Patricia Terkosky and Billie Dulgar; brother David Terkosky (Jeri), brother-in-law-Oliver Moisan (Ella); as well as six nieces and nephews and seven great nieces and great nephews.

Robert was a man of great accomplishment. He was a senior engineer with FM Global System for 41 years. He spent two years overseas in Sweden opening the Stockholm office in the early 2000's. Robert was a world traveler, having visited and explored over 175 countries with his wife. He was also a master gardener who loved taking care of his yard and volunteering in St. Johns County for the past eight years.

Robert was a man of great character, known for his kindness and a great sense of humor who loved to make people laugh. He was a proud sheltie dad who supported Sheltie Rescue. Robert loved cruising and exploring the world.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32223.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mid Florida Sheltie Rescue, the American Diabetes Association, or the Rose Hulman Institute of Technology Student Scholarships.

Robert will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was a devoted husband, and cherished friend to many. May he rest in eternal peace.
