Robert “Bob” Anthony Vaclavik, born on December 24, 1941, in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida. He was the cherished son of Cyril and Bernice Vaclavik and was predeceased by his parents, his brother John Vaclavik, and his daughter Jill Clothier.
He was a graduate of Washington High School in Two Rivers in 1960. He then pursued higher education at the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh. In 1963, he married his high school “little treasure,” Helen Wozniak, beginning a devoted partnership that spanned over six decades.
Bob and Helen lovingly raised three children: John (Andrea) Vaclavik, Jill (Kenneth) Clothier, and Jodi (John) Mullaney. He took immense pride in his role as a grandfather to eight grandchildren: Adam (Katherine) Vaclavik, Erin Pair, Sarah Vaclavik; Drew (Leanne) Clothier, Ian Clothier, Mackenzie Clothier; Miller Mullaney, and Megan Mullaney. His joy extended further with the arrival of four great-grandchildren: Witt Pair, Norah Clothier, Barrett Clothier, and Hunter Vaclavik.
Bob enjoyed a successful career in sales and sales management with The Mirro Corporation, Anvil Cases, and Atlantic Infiniti. A lifelong Green Bay Packers fan and proud shareholder, Bob’s enthusiasm for the team was rivaled only by his deep appreciation for classical music. He also found fulfillment coaching youth baseball and supporting his children’s activities.
Bob’s life was a testament to his unwavering dedication to his Catholic faith, his family, and the happiness he found in their company. His memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew him.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Resurrection Catholic Church 3383 University Blvd. N., Jacksonville, FL 32277. Light reception to follow.
