Robert Vazquez, 68, passed away on April 20, 2014. He was born in Havana, Cuba to the late Antonio and Celia Betancourt Vazquez. Bob retired from Jiffy Lube as a District Manager after 21 years of service. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and loved spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Celia DeCancio, he is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Joanne Vazquez; sons, Robert Vazquez and Christopher Vazquez; siblings, Anthony Vazquez, Marina Del Rio, Michael Vinci (Beth), Nancy Bartells (Curt), and Susan Laine (Bruce); grandchildren, Brooke, Vivian, and Quincy; along with many other family members and friends. A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 26th in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
