She was born in Rochester, New York. She was a graduate of University of Connecticut and had lived in Boston, Massachusetts for several years before moving to Jacksonville.
She was a retired teacher having taught at Mandarin High School in Jacksonville. Ms. Miller was an active member of Deermeadows Baptist Church and was a participant of Bible Study Fellowship. She was a world traveler, enjoyed the local theatre, and was a member of the Secret Cove Women’s Club.
She is survived by her sister Sally M. Hite (husband Mark) and her nieces and nephew Andrea, Alex and Laura all of Indiana.
A memorial service for Ms. Miller will be held at ten o’clock in the morning on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Deermeadows Baptist Church with Reverend Bill Carmichael officiating.
