Roberto Valenti

Roberto Valenti, 79, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and music that touched countless lives. Born December 5, 1945 in La Spezia, Italy. Roberto immigrated to America where he built a life filled with music and laughter. He was a man of many talents and languages, whose humor and warmth made him the life of every gathering until his final day.

He is preceded in death by his son Justin Valenti, as well as his parents Giovanni Valenti and Giovanna Spadaccini.

Roberto is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Valenti; his children Robert Valenti, Daniela Valenti (Helmer), and his cherished grandchildren Madison, Angelina, Carter, and Scarlett; and his beloved sister, Daniela Valenti Bracci (Fabio).

As a seasoned musician and entrepreneur, Roberto brought creativity and passion to everything he pursued. His multilingual abilities and quick wit made him a natural storyteller and beloved friend to many.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32223. Family and friends are invited to dress in Roberto’s favorite style — jeans and your favorite t-shirt — a nod to his beloved shirt collection. To know Roberto was to know the joy and humor he carried with him every day. The family wishes to honor his memory with an upbeat gathering, sharing stories, laughter, and cherished memories together.
