Ruby W. Hayes, 99, passed away on September 22, 2016 at her residence in Jacksonville. She was born May 7, 1917 in Washington County, VA and moved to Jacksonville in 1949. Ruby was a member of Main St. Methodist Church and loved flowers and gardening. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Hayes and their beloved son, Bruce Hayes. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Winston (Bill); grandchildren, Lesley Koy (Dan), Jeffrey Winston and great grandchildren, Cailin Koy, Blythe Winston, Shae Winston and Rylan Winston. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 27 from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. Interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery, 4535 Main St. N. Jacksonville, FL 32206.
