SHORTRIDGE, Russell L. Shortridge, Jr., 77, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away May 19, 2013. Russell is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carolyn Medlock Shortridge; his children, Debbie Miller, Rusty Shortridge, Sandy Day and Joey Shortridge; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; his brother, Wayne Shortridge, and sister, Carol Brown, He was predeceased by son Kenneth Shortridge, The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday, May 23, 2013 at The River at Jacksonville Church, 1820 Monument Road, with a memorial service to follow from 7:00 to 8:00 pm with Pastor Fred Peloso officiating.
