

She was born in Kittery, Maine to Joseph and Donna Norris on March 12, 1964.
Sandra graduated from Saint Augustine High School. After high school, Sandra served in the United States Army where she received the Army Service Ribbon and Marksman Qualification Badge. She then earned her Certificate of Respiratory Therapy from Florida Community College of Jacksonville, which is now known as FSCJ. She also attended college at Flagler College in Saint Augustine.
Sandra worked as a Respiratory Therapist for St. Luke's and the Mayo Clinic. She was a member of the Florida Society for Respiratory Care and had a passion for crafting, painting, and travel. She especially loved to visit the Rocky and Smoky Mountains.
She is survived by her husband Robert Russell, daughter Micayla Russell, and her siblings Kim King, Cindy Webber, and Scott Grimesly. Sandra will be terribly missed by her family, friends, and beloved co-workers at the Mayo Clinic.
A celebration of life for Sandra Russell will be held at Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn funeral home 4300 Beach Blvd Jacksonville, FL 32207 at 10 am on Saturday, May 11, 2019. Her committal will follow at 11 am in Greenlawn Cemetery with Army Honors. After the burial, a reception will be held in Greenlawn chapel from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Her family invites anyone who would like to come to Greenlawn funeral home to gather at 9 am before her celebration. Pastor John Schultz will be officiating the services.
