Sandra “Sandy” Witten, 76, of Neptune Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025. Sandy was born in Jacksonville, on February 27, 1949 to the late Robert and Dorothy Hills. She grew up in Jacksonville, graduated from Englewood High School and went on to pursue a successful career at CSX Transportation for over thirty years.
She was a devout Christian and lived her life as an example of Christ’s love. She served the Lord in many ways throughout her life and was a pillar of strength and compassion. Her days were filled with acts of selflessness, whether caring for her family, friends or helping those in need. Through every challenge and triumph, she met life with grace and determination. She leaves behind a legacy of love, not only in the family she so dearly cherished, but in the countless lives she touched.
She is survived by her husband, Paul; son Jason McCoy and his wife, Haley: daughter Kelly Hayes and her husband John; her adored grandchildren, Priscilla, Cohen, Annabelle, Jordan, Lily and Lucas; her sister Amy Barr and brother Bob Hills, along with other family and friends.
