METZ-Scott Leonard Metz, 51, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012. A Memorial Service with Masonic Rites will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday, August 31, at Southpoint Baptist Church, 3335 Tiger Hole Rd. with Dr. Terry N. Collins officiating. Scott was a member of Mandarin Lodge #343 F & AM, Scottish Rite bodies and Morocco Temple of the Shrine. He was a past President of the Toastmasters Club in the Southeastern office and a very proud member of the Red Cross Gallon Club. Scott had worked with State Farm Insurance Company as a Property Claim Law Specialist and recently served in the same capacity with U.S.A.A. Scott is survived by his Father, Robert W. Metz; his Son, Parker Winfield Metz; a Sister, Alica Badger; Step-Sisters, Heather Brandt, Melinda Thompson and Lucinda O'Connell and other extended Family and his Friends at Southpoint Baptist Church. A private burial will take place in the Jarrett Memorial Cemetery in Elkview, W.V.
