Sheron F. Taylor, 78, passed away Friday, September 1, 2017. Mrs. Taylor was a native of Jesup, Georgia and had lived most of her life in Jacksonville. Sheron was a longtime active member of North Jacksonville Baptist Church where she had retired as the music secretary. Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Cox (Skeeter); her son, Frankie Taylor (Missy); two brothers, Bill Futrill (Fran) and Raymond Futrill (Ellen); three grandchildren, Jessica Smith, Dustin Hamby and Blaine Taylor; six great-grandchildren; other loving family and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, September 5, at North Jacksonville Baptist Church, 8531 North Main Street, with Rev. Chris Coram officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00 am.
