It's been 7 years since we lost you, Larry, there's not a day that goes by that we don't think  of  you &  get a smile on our face. We had such wonderful times back in the day, & sending you all my baked "goodies" at Christmas. RIP my friend

Larry was the most gentle man I 've ever met.  He taught me how to 'live a prayer'.  Rest, Larry.

So sorry for your loss, McMichael family. It has been so many years since I saw you all that I didn't really know Larry any more, but it sounds like he was a great guy. I'm sure you will miss him terribly.

For those of you who did not have the honor of meeting my Brother, he was an amazing man.  I was honored and Blessed to be able to spend the biggest part of his last journey here on earth with him.  I have learned so much this past year and a half from him.  What having a real faith in God and putting others first and by trying to protect us all from his pain.  He loved us all so much.  His outlook on life was one that we could all learn from.  He told me once that the past ten years of his life that he had seen and done more than most people do in a life time.  All though Gary, Cherie, Larry, and Perry may have been separated temporarily, it will always be the four of us.  We are the true definition of "It is what it is"  one of Larry's favorite quotes.  I will miss you little Brother, but will think of you everyday, and try to become more of the man like you.

Larry was probably the sweetest and most genuine man I have ever known. He had an "attitude of gratitude" and he lived what he spoke every day. I rode to work with Larry every day for many months and we had many conversations-all were about his love for his wife, children, grandchildren, brothers, and sister, and family and friends and all of his extended "family" at the Arc. He loved EVERYONE! He will truly be missed by all and was loved by everyone who knew him. We love you, Friend-F.R.O.G.

Larry was one of the sweetest, most humble men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He truly loved his wife, his children, his grandchildren, his brothers, his sister, his family, his friends-everyone. Even those who had possibly wronged him in the past. He knew that he had been wrong, done things wrong, hurt others, made mistakes, and felt badly for hurting those that he loved. I feel that he more than made up for all of that by the life that he led and the example that he set for the rest of us-"an attitude of gratitude"-he said it every day and he certainly lived it-every day. I was able to ride to and from work with him for many months and we had some wonderful conversations-usually about his love for his wife and family-he couldn't wait to meet his latest grandchild, and he was able to do that-I am so happy that he was. He was also looking forward to going to one more Cardinals game with his grandsons-I believe he was able to do that as well. We love you and miss you every day, Larry.
