

Suad Khalil Saman (84), beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed on October 07, 2014 peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Ramallah, Palestine on May 24, 1930, she moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1979. She was an active member of St. George Orthodox Church; her faith in God and love to others was an inspiration to her family and to everyone that knew her. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Khalil, her sons Isam and Nidal Saman, her granddaughter Reeva Saman, her parents Kustandy and Nabeeha Ziadeh, her brother Dr. Issa Ziadeh and her sister Afaf Rizkallah. She is survived by her sons Riyad (Ibtisam), Marwan (Maysoon), daughter in law Lamis Isam Saman, daughters Rawda (Samir) and Randa Saman, her brothers Shawky Ziadeh (Dalal), Fuad Saleh (Afaf), Maurice Ziadeh (Grace), Tarik Saleh (Lola), sister in law Aida Issa Ziadeh, brother in law Issa Rizkallah, eleven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins that will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 09, 2014 at Saint George Antiochian Orthodox Church located at 6300 Bowden Road, Jacksonville, FL with Trisagion service at 7:00 PM with the Very Rev. Archpriest Kamal Al-Rahil, officiating.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 10, 2014 at 10AM in Saint George Antiochian Orthodox Church with burial to follow in Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, 7242 Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville, FL.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home 4115 Hendricks Ave. Jacksonville, FL. In lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to St. George Orthodox Church, 6300 Bowden Road, Jacksonville, FL 32216.
