Theodore (Ted/Sonny) Mouchette, age 69, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2022, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was a loving husband, Dad, and Papa. He is predeceased by his parents and brother. He is survived by his wife, Beverly, daughter Rachel (Richard) Ford, son Scott (Amanda), sister Phyllis (James) Bradford, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was born in Jacksonville, Florida. He graduated from Ribault High School in 1971 and attended F.S.U. He worked at Jefferson Smurfit for 22 years, until they closed down and then worked for Stenner Pump Company for 16 years before retiring.
He loved spending time with family and loved the outdoors. He loved travelling and going on cruises. He will greatly be missed by all.
A funeral service will be held at Fruit Cove Baptist Church, 501 S.R. 13, St. Johns, Florida 32259 on Saturday, August 6th. Visitation at 10:30 a.m. followed by the service at 11:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation, in his honor, to Fruit Cove Baptist Church or Community Hospice.
