

When he was honorably discharged he returned to New York and began his Insurance career. After many promotions and relocations, he retired in 1994 as Marketing Manager for Marsh & McClennon Insurance Brokers in Jacksonville.
Tom did woodworking and built many beautiful pieces of furniture for the family. He also loved playing golf and spent many happy hours with his friends on the local courses.
He is survived by his wife Jane, his children, Deborah Farish, Richard Farish (Kimberlee), Irene Hanley (Pat), and his step sons Edward Hulsey (Christina) and Benjamin Hulsey; his grandchildren Dru Dickerhoff (Liz), Emily Helm (lan), Leslee Kuykendal (Adam), Veronica Forney (Jeff) and Patrick Hanley (Elinna) and six great grandchildren.
His arrangements are being attended by Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 26 at 10:00 AM at Mandarin Presbyterian Church, Jacksonville, FL. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Tunnels to Towers.
