He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Linda. His daughter Crystal Bird, (spouse Marty) and their 4 children. Stepdaughters Melissa Smith (spouse Ted) April Turner (spouse Heather Jenkins), 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother Dolores and siblings Joanne, RJ, Kat, Alice, Patty, Tommy, Joey, Danny, Missy, Jen, and many nieces and nephews. Timothy was predeceased by his father Joseph, who was a lay minister, and his siblings Ray, Joel, Rebecca and Rachel.
Some of Timothy‘s favorite things included the many freshwater fishing dates with his wife Linda, which sometimes were joined by his pet alligator, Claire. Another favorite was the wonderful train excursions they did over the years. Christmas was his favorite time of the year especially when they would venture north into the snow regions. He was a self-made entrepreneur who, together with encouragement and assistance of his dedicated wife, built a substantial mailbox business, which was eventually featured in the Jacksonville Business Journal magazine.
He loved people and helped many who were less fortunate and fed the homeless for many years. Raised in a Godly home by parents who believed in Jesus Christ, it was instilled in him to consider others more highly than himself and he certainly succeeded in reaching that goal. He was loved by many and will be missed by all, but we do celebrate him stepping into his final destiny, Heaven!
