Tina B. Cooksey

In memory of Tina Marie Beck Truett Cooksey, 68 years, a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Cousin, Aunt and friend to many. A native of Jacksonville, Florida, born January 17, 1956 remaining a resident in the home town she loved. She passed away on March 19, 2024 with family by her side.

Tina was a graduate of Sandalwood High School in Jacksonville, Florida, a member of the Pep Squad, Cheerleader in Junior High, President of the PTA at her daughters’ elementary school for 3 years. She loved visiting Disney World and even had the nickname of Tinkerbell.

Tina was married twice in her life, with wonderful memories of love. Her proudest accomplishment was her two daughters, whom she always referred to as her joy and her laughter. She most enjoyed making memories with her two granddaughters and newest grandson.

Tina was preceded in death by her former husbands Joseph Truett and Mitchell Cooksey as well as her Mother, Patricia Williams, step Father, Alfred Williams, and her beloved Grandparents, Howard and Mary Callahan. She is survived by her daughters Tricia (Daniel) Doyle and Joanna (Paul) Fostock, three grandchildren, Katelyn, Addison and Weller, two brothers, Wayne and Mark, two sisters, Gayla and Mari, Father, Bill Beck, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

A celebration of Tina’s life will be held at Hardage - Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 10 a.m. 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32207. All friends and family are welcome.
