Every once in a while, you meet someone whose inner light twinkles and dances, whose goodness seems to burst forth from them. “Twink” could not have been a more appropriate name for such a unique soul.
Mary-Grace (Twink) Wilson was born on June 28, 1956 in Miami, Florida. She passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016 after a fleeting battle with ovarian cancer (she died 28 days after being diagnosed), just two weeks shy of her 60th birthday. Twink was a dedicated member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, sharing her time and talent with her guitar and voice for three Masses each weekend. She was the Associate Director for the Office of Human Resources at the Diocese of Saint Augustine, where she had enjoyed working for 16 years. She raised two children who grew up to be generous, honorable, fun, witty and loving. Twink’s playful and mischievous nature shone brightly in her life’s passions, which were living her faith, cherishing friends, loving family and all things Disney. She was easily known for her animated sense of humor, infectious smile, dancing eyes, limitless strength, remarkable courage, elegance and sound advice.
She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Heather Siboni and James Siboni; her daughters-in-law, Rachel and Myra; and grandson, Jay.
Her twinkling light is with us still, though her presence is deeply missed.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 25th at Joseph Catholic Church, 11730 Old St. Augustine Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32258, in the main church with Father Mike Houle, as Celebrant. A reception is to immediately follow at the Cody Enrichment Center. In lieu of flowers, her children request donations be made in Twink’s name to either the St. Joseph Catholic Church’s Music Ministry or to the Mandarin Food Bank in Jacksonville.
Arrangements under the direction of Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel, Jacksonville, FL.
