Vavina Rose Windhaus Liles 85, died Friday July 13, 2007 in Ormond Beach, Fla. Mrs. Liles was born in Jacksonville and lived here her entire life. She was a homemaker and traveled with her husband at all times on his business trips. She enjoyed playing golf , yard work, sewing and reading. She also worked at the Super Shopper where she enjoyed meeting the customers. She was a very kind hearted person who was always ready to help family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Al to whom she was married 66 yrs. She is survived by her two daughters; Anita Liles and Kathryn (Michael) Machanis, 2 Grandchildren: Lauren and Nathaniel Machanis, Brothers: Vernon (Pat) Windhaus, Marvin (Marjean) Windhaus and Ronnie (Nancy) Windhaus and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at the Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home , 1426 Rowe Ave., with Rev. David Becham officiating with interment at 3:00 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Blackshear, Ga. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
