MEDEIROS - Victor Manuel - Our beloved Victor Medeiros passed away on Sunday May 16, 2021 at St. Vincent’s hospital. He was surrounded by family, friends, and lots of love the week prior. He is survived through his wife Fatima Medeiros. They had a special 25 years together of lots of love and memories that were made with the grandchildren and his girls. He loved the sunshine, boat, and water, for as long as Victor lived in Florida he had a boat and he made sure everyone was welcomed and enjoyed their time with him as captain on the St. Johns River.
He is also survived through his sisters Lizette Medeiros and Maria Costa. Where they were all born on the island of St. Miguel in the Azores, Portugal. He was the youngest of 4 brothers, and the biggest trouble maker of 5 sisters.
He loved to create memories with his four daughters Cathy Wilson, Lucy Togher, Sandy McDonald, and Christine Kunberger. There is lots of memories of motorcycle rides, site seeing, beach days, boat days, and just overall random adventures.
He was also the biggest instigator of fun with his 7 grandchildren Celina Heindl, Angelina Kunberger, Jacob Wilson, Ryan Wilson, Gracie Togher, William Togher, and Benjamin McDonald. Victor also adored his great grandson, Aiden Heindl.
If you knew Victor you knew he loved adventure, he loved to laugh, but most importantly he loved to see you laugh. He was the light of every room and it still shines through the stories told from his friends and loved ones. He was the best brother, husband, father, Vavo, and friend that any of us could ask for.
- We all love you and miss you Vavo. I hope you’re up in heaven laughing and com copo vinho.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Victor's name to the American Heart Association, St. Jude's Children Hospital or the charity of your choice.
