Pastor Vincent H. Gaugler, born April 18th, 1937 in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He passed away peacefully on the 11th of March 2022 in Jacksonville, Florida where he resided at age 84. His family rejoices in the fact that he has gone on to be with our Heavenly Father.
In his younger years he served in the United States Air Force where he met and married and is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Brenda Ergle Gaugler. Following that, he earned his bachelor’s degree from William Carey University, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and then his Master’s Degree from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, New Orleans, Louisiana.
Vince served in the Ministry as a pastor for 40 years with churches in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida where he retired in Tampa, Florida. Afterwards, he then moved to Jacksonville, Florida to be near his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his 3 children: Janelle Parrish (Husband-Michael), Kevin Gaugler (Wife-Jamie) and Doug Gaugler (Wife-Julie). He will also be remembered by his 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He will be laid to rest at the Jacksonville National Cemetery on the 16th of March, 2022 at 11 am.
