HOLLAND – Mrs. Virginia Collins Holland, 78, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012. Mrs. Holland had retired from Southern Bell after 28 years service. She was a long-time member of Arlington Baptist Church where funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 18th at 2:00 PM with Rev. Fred Norman officiating. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, July 19th at 2:00 PM at Sunlight Cemetery in her hometown of Cobbtown, GA. Mrs. Collins surviving family includes: her husband of 58 years, John H. Holland; daughters, Debra Holland and Carol Tamborelli and Carol’s husband, Vaughn Maurer; 3 grandsons, Anthony, Ryan and Christopher; 3 sisters, Faye Reese, Ramona Lynn and Yvonne Fulford; a brother, Ronald Collins; as well as nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Arlington Baptist Church Wednesday for one hour prior to the funeral service, beginning at 1:00 PM. Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Boulevard.
