"Skip" is my 1st cousin and my father's only sister's Louise (Nungesser-Sorenson) daughter. It is so sad to have lost Virginia so suddenly. 

Virginia and I were stationed in Okinawa, Japan at Kadena Air Force Base (6990th Security Service) in the early 1970s.    She was the only female in our unit and an exceptional person.    She met Chuck there and they were married.   Over the years I would call her on her birthday and she was always happy to hear from me.  Just yesterday,  May 25, 2020 I called and the number had been disconnected.    Immediately,  I knew something was wrong and I google her name.    One of the last times that I spoke to her she stated that her mother had passed and asked me did I know of anyone looking for a house in the Jacksonville area.   I told her that I did not.   We had been in contact over the years and would talk about different people that we worked with and wondered if they were still living.   She will be missed to the upmost and I will notify some of the people we knew about her demise.    Rest in peace our dear friend and God Bless. 

On Nov 2 a few hours after Virginia passed away I was in my bedroom with the door closed. I heard Virginia's voice from my living room. I opened the door, went into the living room. I then got goose bumps,felt chills, fear and starting crying. I don't cry. But now when I go to her gravesite I start crying.

Just heard about Virginia s passing today , I am so sorry.  We were friends at Paxon .  Always , looked forward to seeing her at our Class Reunions.  I talked with her in June 2017 at our 50th .  Loved her zest for life , singing, dancing and having fun !  God Bless Her,  she will be missed by so many classmates and others.

After Chuck passed away Virginia was very depressed and I asked her to go on a motorcycle ride with me and she said I had to get written permission from my wife. From that time on we were best friends. When my wife died 2 months ago she was there for me. After my wife died we were very close and on Holloween she told me she loved me. Then Nov 1 I got a call she was in ER. I held her hand for a long time. Then she went for tests and I went home and came back Nov 1 and she was going into surgery. I had to go home for a little bit and was called back that she was not going to survive. When I got to St. Vincent's hospital she had passed. I asked for a priest and he said a prayer while I put my hand on Virginia's shoulder. She passed on Nov. 2nd. My birthday. I loved her with all my heart.

Enjoyed being with Virginia at the pool. Will miss our conversations and showing her latest nail art. She will be missed by many.

 Aunt Ginny was a very loving special person who will be dearly missed. She loved to dance, sing and swim every day. She loved her cats and enjoyed being with dear friends, she missed her beloved Charles deeply. We all have an angel looking over us now. Deeply missed, Mitzi, Diane, Arianna and Lillian

Aunt Ginny was a very sweet gal who enjoyed the outdoors.   She especially enjoyed the water and loved to swim often.  She will be missed and she is going to be back with Charles.  God bless you.   Judy and Fred Faes
