

Virginia “Rae” Sisco, age 90 passed away at the Earl B Hadlow Center for Caring in Jacksonville on October 14, 2014. She was born in Knoxville, TN on June 21, 1924 to her parents, Ulysses and Tresa Livengood.
She has been a resident of the Jacksonville area since 1969 coming from Knoxville, TN.
Prior to retirement she was a Registered Nurse for St Mary’s Hospital in Knoxville for over 20 years. Early in her life she served as a Nursing Cadet during World War II.
Rae enjoyed cross-word puzzles and liked shopping.
She was a member of The Swaim United Methodist Church in Jacksonville
Rae was pre-deceased by her husband, William Sisco.
She is survived by two sons, Bill Sisco (Kathy) of Montgomery, TX, Steven Sisco of Birmingham, AL and a daughter Tresa Buckley (Jim) of Jacksonville, FL., a sister-inlaw, Betty Livengood of Blue Earth, MN, 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of her life will be at The Swaim United Methodist Church, 1620 Naldo Ave, Jacksonville, Fl. At 1:00 pm November 2, 2014.
Inurnment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
