Virginia Lelia Stanfield

Virginia Leila Stanfield,(Precious) born August 4, 1936 in Washington, D.C.went to be with the Lord and her husband Max on December 18, 2011. She came to Jacksonville in 1973. She was a faithful member of Southside Assembly of God for many years.

She is survived by the luckiest 4 children, David Stanfield, Diane Camden, Allen Stanfield (Michelle Stanfield), and Alice Mullis (Joann Keyes); 12 grandchildren, Tamatha Jones (Kevin), Samantha Kirby (Chuck), Steven Vereen (Shara), Joshua Camden (Carrie), Lauren Vereen, Jennifer Stanfield (Rod), Matthew Stanfield (Nicole), Justin Mullis (Brittney), Ronald Smith (Becky), Danielle Keyes, Bailey Stanfield, and Zoli Karsai, 10 great grandchildren, and one on the way.

She was a loving and devoted wife and mother who never met a stranger as she loved life and her family. She will always be remembered for her kindness and gentle ways and will be greatly missed.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, December21, 2011 from 6 – 8 pm at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville, FL. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 22 at 10:30 am at Southside Assembly of God, 2118 Kings Ave., Jacksonville. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
