Vivian D Breckenridge

Vicki worked with the Army Corps of Engineers in the Engineering Division and retired July of 1997. She was an active member of the Ortega United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She enjoyed being a member of the Jacksonville Garden Club where she participated in the Confederate Jasmine Garden Circle. Vicki’s family were her love and joy. Vicki was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others.

She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her husband, Donald H. Breckenridge, loving children Lucretia Dinkla Norman (Lynn), Hendrik Dinkla (Maura) and Klaas Dinkla (Trish); grandchildren, Gregory Norman, Kimberly Norman Thivierge (Aaron), Ashley Norman, Michael Dinkla and Ian Dinkla; great grandson Jack Thivierge; brother Elery Griffis and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ortega United Methodist Church, 4807 Roosevelt Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32210 or to the Community Hospice Foundation, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257.

A Memorial service will be held at Oct 30, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Ortega United Methodist Church, 4807 Roosevelt Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32210. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home 729 S Edgewood Ave Jax. Fl. 32205.
