Vivian M. Davis, 91, passed away on February 28, 2013. She was born on September 27, 1921 in Lorain, Ohio to Harry and Bertha Jacobs. As a young woman, Vivian lived in Cicero Illinois. From 1939-1940 Vivian was Honored Queen of Job's Daughters of Illinois, Bethel No. 1. While living in Cicero, Vivian joined the United States Marine Corps. Vivian proudly served her country during WWII. Later she worked for many years and retired from IBM in San Francisco. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Surviving family members include her sons, Michael and Charles Davis; daughters, Lori Fletcher and Sherie Page; grandchildren, Lisa, John, Sequoia, Kate, Robert, TJ and Albert; and numerous great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Ralph W. Davis, sisters, Carol Jacobs and Audrey Crouch and daughter Donna Schmitz.
A Private Service will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice Northeast Florida.
