

Wanda Lee Meyer, 71, passed away on May 20, 2014. She was born in Big Springs, West Virginia to the late William and Earline Scott Dye. She graduated from Belpre High School in Ohio. Wanda retired from the Duval County Clerk of the Court Office in 2000 after 30 years of service. She continued to work in her “retirement” years at Sugar Bear Antique Mall. She enjoyed helping friends and family plan and decorate for their special events. Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond L. Meyer, she is survived by her mother Earline Dye, daughter, Rene’ L. Wishart and her husband, Troy Gordon; son, Randolph Meyer; siblings, Jean Jack, Gary R. Dye (Linda), Donna Urschel (Lou), Sharon Boals (Darrel), Ann Moorehead (Fred), Debbie Bratcher (James); grandchildren, Alyssa Meyer, Jesse Wishart, and Madelene Wishart; numerous, nieces, nephews, family members and friends. She was loved by all and will be missed, leaving this life too soon. A Celebration of Wanda’s Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 6th in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jacksonville Humane Society, the American Cancer Society, or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
