

He was originally from Norfolk, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Jennie Edwards, as well as his son, Thomas Kenny Edwards.
Mallory is survived by his wife of 45 years, Marion Moseley Edwards; his sister, Janet Jack of Wilmington, DE; his son, David A. Edwards of Virginia Beach, Va.; daughter, Elizabeth Wilburn of Belevidere, NC and step son, Sam Luciana of Norfolk, Va. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Mallory attended Hampden Sydney College and was a member of the class of 1952. Before his retirement, he worked for the U.S. Federal Government as an auditor/accountant for over 35 years, spending much of his time in the Norfolk and Washington, D.C. areas before moving to Jacksonville, FL in 1983. He was Presbyterian and served as Deacon and Treasurer at several churches. Most recently he was a member of Mandarin Presbyterian Church, Jacksonville, FL. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from six o’clock p.m. until eight o’clock p.m. at Hardage-Giddens The Oaklawn Chapel located at 4801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville FL. Funeral Services will be in the Oaklawn Chapel on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at ten o’clock a.m. followed by burial in Oaklawn Cemetery
