William "Bill" Murphy Burrell, Jr., age 85, went home to be with the Lord and Savior on March 3, 2014 after a long extended illness. Born in Hendersonville, NC., Bill was the sweetest kindest man and loved his family above all else to include all his doggies. Bill retired from the Florida Highway Patrol after 23 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish. Everyone enjoyed talking to him. He always had a funny story or joke to tell and
loved to make people laugh. He loved to work on all kinds of projects and there was nothing that he could not do. Bill was generous in sharing his talents, giving and helping those he knew and loved. Bill leaves behind a lifetime of very special memories to his family and friends especially his loving lifetime soul mate Nancy, his children, his grandchildren and his great grandchildren who brought great joy to his life every day. The Funeral will be 11am Friday March 7th at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Boulevard, with a visitation one hour prior.
