Bill retired from the US Navy as Chief Petty Officer after 31.5 years of service and was a member of the Unity Spiritual Enrichment Center.
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, M. Diane Lindsay; children, Doreen Grooms, David Lindsay, Melvin Lindsay and Mari Yokoyama; sisters, Marlene Roberson, Wanda Coward and Vivian Lindsay; brother, Samuel Lindsay; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family members and friends.
The Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26th in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin with Rev. Betty Sikking as Officiant. Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, prior to the service.
