William has been a resident of the Jacksonville area since 2002 coming from Dallas, TX.
Prior to retirement he was a Logistics Manager in the electronics industry. He was of the Catholic Faith. William served his country proudly during Vietnam in the U.S. Army where he received a Purple Heart during his service.
He is survived by two brothers, Stephen Ricke and Christopher Ricke both of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Elizabeth Ricke of Fernandina Beach, FL.
A graveside service will be held at the Jacksonville National Cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home.
