TARLETONWilliam Marvin Tarleton, 67, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2007. A native of Hogansville, Georgia, Mr. Tarleton had been a longtime resident of Jacksonville and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired in 1997 after 30 years of service from Allied Systems, formerly Motor Convoy. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Tarleton. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Tarleton; ten children, Jimmy, Angela, Tyrone, Kimberly, Roxanne, Donna, Michael, Paul, Elliott and Kim; one brother, Roy Tarleton; 16 grandchildren, one great-grandson, numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and dear friends. Funeral services, with military honors, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 8, in the chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Avenue, with Dr. Wayne Upton officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
