Wilma Carole Brannan, 83, went home to be with the Lord on September 24, 2021 after a battle with Covid pneumonia. She was born April 14, 1938 in Lynchburg, VA and was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, FL.
Wilma was fondly known as Carole by mostly everyone. She worked for Continental Insurance as well as Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Carole’s greatest love was for her family and she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was also a faithful servant at Deermeadows Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Middleburg. Carole loved to travel with her husband, Harvey, and one of their favorite destinations was Sanibel Island. She will truly be missed by all her family and friends.
Carole was predeceased by Lilly Settle (Mother), Harvey Brannan (Husband) and Brenda Johns (Daughter). She is survived by Troy Brannan (Son), Lester Brannan (Son), Brett Johns (Son-in-law), and 6 grandchildren: Justin Brannan, Robert Johns, Amy Brannan, Emily Johns, Sarah Johns, and Tatiana Brannan.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Deermeadows Baptist Church, 9780 Baymeadows Road, Jacksonville, Fl.
