Left behind are his wife, Violet Smith; his son, Wyman Parker Smith Jr. (Maxine); grandsons, Joshua Smith and Wesley Smith; and great-granddaughter, Ryan Ray.
He started to work for Publix Supermarket in 1950, he continued his employment with them for 53 years.
He was drafted in 1957 to the Army, where he served 2 years in Germany. He got out of the Army in 1959, but was called back during the Cuban Missile Crisis. After that he returned home to his family and position at Publix. He did a lot of charity work during his life.
The Community Hospice and Palliative Care was a wonderful group who helped him so much.
