

JOSEPH- Yulet “Juliet” Joseph, 90, was born in Tampico, Mexico on July 15, 1930 to Elias Hanun and Raduy Quezene. Yulet grew up in Mante City, Mexico. She married Louis Joseph on March 16, 1947 and moved to Jacksonville, Florida. Yulet was one of 12 children and is predeceased by her parents, Elias and Raduy, her brothers Elias and Fuad, sisters Maria, Lourdes “Lulu,” and Norma, as well as her granddaughter Julie Joseph Burke. She is survived by her sisters Linda, Rosa, Layla, Lupana, Teresa, and Perla, and also her six children Joe (Donna), George (Julia), Mary Louise, Elizabeth (Jorge), Louis Jr. (Rosie), and Schamoun. Additionally, “Sitto” is survived by her adoring 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and “Tatarabuela“ to 1 great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Yulet lived a faithful, selfless life, with an endearing devotion to the Blessed Mother. She was a shining example of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Yulet embarked on her final journey to join Jesus on August 2, 2020.
A Funeral Mass will be co-celebrated 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 7, 2020 at Christ the King Catholic Church with Fr. James R. Boddie, Jr. and Rev. Talaat Yazji, Celebrants.
