Catherine Marie Stanley, 37 of Richlands, passed away Friday afternoon at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her father William Joseph Stanley and her brothers Robert May and Willie Stanley.
She is survived by her mother Susan Zelenak of Maysville, brother Nicholas Zelenak of Maysville, step father Greg Zelenak of Maysville and boyfriend Kenneth Pilkington.
A funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home of Jacksonville on Saturday at 2 PM with Pastor Volney Bryan officiating. Visitation will take place one hour before the service at 1 PM. Burial will follow the funeral at the Stanley Huffman family cemetery.
Flowers are welcome and appreciated, but in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Richlands First Free Will Baptist Church.
