Charles Houston Sloop

Charles Houston Sloop, 77, of St Cloud Florida, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Dr. P. Phillips Hospital in Orlando Florida. Charles was a 27 year Veteran of the US Armed Forces, having served in both the Navy and the Army, with deployment during Desert Storm. He was also retired from Stanadyne Corporation after 25 years of employment.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 58 years, Margie Sloop of St. Cloud FL. Also surviving are two daughters, Pam Searcy & Jan Riggs (Dale) also of St. Cloud FL. One brother, James Parker of Brevard, NC

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2018, at Johnson Funeral Home in Jacksonville. Internment will follow at Onslow Memorial Park with Military honors. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Disabled Veteran's Association.
