Iris Mae Claus, 70 of Jacksonville, NC passed away Tuesday evening at Duplin General. Iris is survived by her husband, Michael R. Claus of Jacksonville, sons Christopher J. Claus of Jacksonville, Jeffrey E. Chase of Virginia, Anthony W. Chase of Michigan, and Joey A. Chase of Savannah, GA, her brother Jimmy L. Jones of Tarboro, NC, and 6 grandchildren.
A visitation for Iris will be held at Johnson Funeral Home of Jacksonville on Thursday evening from 6 – 8 PM. Services for Iris will take place at Johnson Funeral Home of Jacksonville on Friday at 1 PM and will be officiated by Pastor Randall Pearce. Interment will be at Onslow Memorial Park following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
