I worked with Jo for many years at CPD and CHRO-East, as it was later named.  We actually shared a two-person office for a couple of years when I first became a Staffing Specialist.  I learned so much from Jo, not just about the job, but about attitude and gratitude.  Jo was a wealth of knowledge in her field!  
My heart goes out to David.  I pray for God's love and comfort for David and the rest of Jo's family.  She was a special lady and will be missed.

Praying God' s grace, love and blessings give Jo's Family and David the strength and peace during their journey of grief - through the tears, sharing of memories and smiles.  Jo's strength, gentleness, caring,  giving, sharing, and loving nature has been her mark on our lives and will forever live in our memories. I am imagining her laughing and dancing on those streets of gold!  Miss you, friend.

My family and I are saddened to hear of Jo's death.  She was a such an inspiration.  She always wore a smile which reflected her loving heart. Dear Jo, I haven't seen you in a while but the last time I did, you were so happy. We talked about retiring and how glad we were to be able to retire. We worked so closely together that I never saw you as being handicapped - only that you were so smart and helpful. I miss you already. I pray for God's mighty arms to hold your family and loved ones and provide comfort and peace in knowing that you are smiling with the angels. RIP my friend.

Everyone who met or knew Jo found a warm, caring woman. She made a difference in many people's lives. I have known Jo for almost 30 years, and have never heard anything but great remarks about her. She was fair and generous in nature--highly respected. She will be missed. My sincere sympathy to the family. Just know she was held in high regard by all.

Jo, you were my best friend in school. We were in the same class for all our school years but two. We were always together , we ate lunch  and took our break together. We talked about our boyfriends and so much more. After your wreck , I was so sad , but thank God you pulled thru. When you  came back to school I would push you in the wheelchair to your classes. . We picked up just like you had never left.  I asked about you all thru the years after leaving high school I finally got back up with you 6 months ago.  Thank God I found you .  I loved you like a sister , we had a lot of fun and I will always think of you with your big beautiful smile. You were the best friend  to me . I'm sorry you had to go thru so much in your life. How the years have passed.  I remember working with Jo more than 15 years at Civilian Personnel Office, Building 33 and at the Outside Recruiting Office, Midway Park.  Jo was always pleasant and had such a beautiful smile.  
My prayers are with the family and her special friend, David.  There are times along life's journey that can test our spirit deeply, and this is surely one of those times. I will always remember Jo. She helped me so much when I transferred here to Jacksonville in Dec of 1997. She was always there for any personnel needs I had. Even a week before the accident we saw each other in Walmart and shared time together. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and care taker, David.

I worked with Jo at the CHRO-East, Camp Lejeune, NC.  Although it's a difficult time now, may the peace that comes from the memories of love shared, comfort the Futrell family now and in the days ahead.  We are keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers.
