Malia Yoneko Josephine Swencki

Yoneko was a loving wife of thirty-eight years and mother and grandmother. She loved gardening and taking care of her kids.

A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at12:00 p.m. at the Coastal Carolina State Veteran’s Cemetery. A procession will depart from Johnson Funeral Home, Jacksonville at 11:30 a.m.

She is survived by her husband: Thaddeus M. Swencki, Jr. SGTMAJ USMC (RET); sons: Akira Swencki and wife Jessica of Carolina Beach, NC, Michael Swencki of Norristown, PA; daughter: Lisa Haik and husband Kyle of Crestview, FL; grandchildren: Chelsea and Matthew Haik; mother: Kiyo Asato of Ishigaki-Jima, Japan; brothers: Yukitaka Asato, Yoshimasa Asato, and Jun Asato all of Ishigaki-Jima, Japan; sisters: Masae Nakasone of Miyako-Jima, Japan and Junko Asato of Ishigaki-Jima, Japan.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Johnson Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
