Stephen Adams Griffin Sr.

He is preceded in death by his parents Lonnie and Bertle Griffin, and his brother Lonnie F. Griffin

Steve is survived by his loving wife, friend, and Soul Mate of 57 years Shelby “Jean” Griffin of the home, son Steve Griffin Jr. and wife Lisa of Richlands, daughters Teresa Tefft and husband Ray of Richlands and Lisa Avery and husband Wayne of Kinston, sisters Mary Bateman of Richlands, Kathleen White of Jacksonville, Rachel Moore of Portsmouth, VA, Elizabeth Croom of Richlands, and Joy Thomas of Comfort, and grandchildren Stephen Griffin III, Amber Joan Fisher, Sarah Jean Bedard, Mary Ashley Griffin, and Joey Walter Bedard.

A memorial service celebrating Steve’s life will be held at Johnson Funeral Home of Richlands on Saturday at 5 PM with Pastor Steve Evans officiating. A gathering of friends and family will follow the memorial service also at the funeral home.

Burial will be private at the family’s request, at a later date.
